Our Horse Operation

We have been involved with rodeo for many years. Laura started to rodeo her freshman year of high school and went to Northeastern Oklahoma on a rodeo scholarship for two years. Then she transferred to Murray State University on a rodeo scholarship for her final two years where she won the Ozark Region Goat Tying Champion and Reserve All-Around Cowgirl. Laura continues to rope and run barrels at PCA rodeos.

Logan started riding saddle bronc horses a few years after graduating from a local two year college in Illinois, and went to Murray State University for four years on a rodeo scholarship where he also learned to rope. Logan continues to ride saddle bronc horses at PCA rodeos and was the 2005 PCA Saddle Bronc Rookie of the year. Logan continues to rope calves with Laura at Rural Retreat.

Our facilities were completed in 2005 and include:

Stalls – 12ft x 12ft

Outdoor arena – 150ft x 300ft

Round Pen – 60ft
